Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 2+ years of PD claim experience.
• Active license in CT, NH, RI or other states preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Policy Analysis: interpret policy provisions, endorsements, and conditions to determine coverage for automobile property claims.
• Claim Investigation: interview claimants, witnesses, and officers to assess liability and collect records for proximate cause and damages.
• Claims Management: evaluate reserves, prepare dispatch instructions for field personnel, negotiate settlements within authority, and maintain follow-up on files.
• Subrogation and Legal Handling: investigate subrogation opportunities and respond to civil matters related to auto property damage.
• Administrative Duties: manage calls, emails, mail, and other duties as assigned.
