Responsibilities include negotiating settlements, maintaining file follow-up, and coordinating with vendors. A Bachelor’s degree or 2–4 years experience is required, with strong customer service skills emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and interpret policy provisions to determine coverage for auto property claims.
• Identify and investigate Contested Coverage Claims with recommendation for coverage committee.
• Interview claimants and witnesses and secure records and loss scene information.
• Assess liability, proximate cause, negligence, and damages based on investigations.
• Adjust reserves and prepare dispatch instructions for field personnel.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and seek guidance for higher authority when needed.
• Maintain follow-up on pending files and handle multiple tasks.
