Job summary

Plymouth Rock seeks an Auto Property Damage Claims Associate to manage Auto PD claims in our unit, delivering high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment with significant phone interaction.

Responsibilities include analyzing policy coverage, investigating accidents, adjusting reserves, coordinating with field personnel, and handling subrogation when applicable, while maintaining privacy and professional communication with insureds and brokers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A minimum of 1 year of related PD claim experience welcomed but not required.
• Proficiency in personal computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Policy analysis: interpret policy provisions to determine coverage for auto property claims.
• Claim investigation: interview claimants and witnesses to determine liability and damages.
• Claims management: adjust reserves and coordinate dispatch instructions; negotiate settlements within authority.
• Subrogation and legal handling: initiate subrogation when applicable and handle related litigation.
• Administrative duties: manage calls, emails, mail, and other duties to support the unit.
