Job summary

Plymouth Rock is seeking a qualified claims professional to analyze policy provisions and investigate auto property claims, determining coverage and liability. You will interview claimants and witnesses, secure records, and assess damages to support reserves and settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of PD claim experience required.
• Licensed in CT, NH, RI and other states preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and interpret policy provisions to determine coverage for automobile property claims.
• Interview claimants, witnesses, and officers to assess liability and damages.
• Evaluate reserves and adjust as needed; prepare dispatch instructions for field personnel.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authority; escalate as needed for complexity.
• Maintain updates to insureds, claimants, and brokers on claim status.
• Handle subrogation processes and respond to related lawsuits when applicable.
• Provide customer-focused service via calls, emails, and correspondence.
