Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a Claims Complex Auto Adjuster to handle high-complexity auto claims and support our Auto Claims Operations. The role requires advanced knowledge of coverage, fault assessment, and settlement negotiation within authority.

You will investigate liability, evaluate damages, and coordinate with internal and external teams while maintaining regulatory compliance and high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 4–6 years claims handling experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of claims administration practices and procedures.
• Advanced understanding of vehicle repair processes and fault assessment.
• Subrogation knowledge and negligence concepts required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims software.
• Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Property and Casualty Insurance license in selling state; adjuster license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insureds and claimants to manage claims.
• Verify benefits and coverages; explain claims process in writing or verbally.
• Investigate liability and assess complex coverage issues.
• Obtain statements from insureds, claimants and witnesses.
• Conduct phone investigations to determine liability and damages.
• Evaluate and negotiate settlements within authority for complex claims.
• Apply knowledge of claims tech, property damage and bodily injury evaluations.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams and respond to inquiries.
