Job summary

AAA is seeking a Claims Senior Auto Adjuster to support Auto Claims Operations by handling claims of material and liability, evaluating coverage, and negotiating resolutions in line with company practices. The role requires effective communication with insureds and claimants and careful assessment of complex issues.

Under limited supervision, you will investigate liability and damages, coordinate with relevant departments, and respond promptly to inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level education or an equivalent combination with experience.
• 1-3 years of claims handling experience required.
• Knowledge of claims administration best practices and procedures.
• Understanding of vehicle repair processes and fault assessment.
• Knowledge of pertinent licensing and potential Adjuster licensing requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims software.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insureds and claimants; explain benefits and process.
• Identify statements, conduct investigations to determine liability and damages.
• Evaluate and negotiate within settlement authority to resolve claims.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments as required.
• Respond quickly to customer needs and inquiries.
• Overtime and holiday hours may be required.
