AAA in the United States seeks a Claims Senior Auto Adjuster to support Auto Claims Operations by handling claims of material damage, property damage, and/or liability in compliance with regulatory requirements. The role covers liability investigation, coverage evaluation, and negotiation strategies for moderate complexity claims.

Under limited supervision, resolves claims within defined authority. The position involves interacting with insureds, claimants, and witnesses, and requires knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years claims handling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of claims administration practices and procedures.
• Understanding of vehicle repair processes and fault assessment.
• Knowledge of claims software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insureds and claimants and manage inquiries.
• Verify benefits, coverages, fault, and processes in compliance with requirements.
• Investigate to determine liability and damages.
• Evaluate and negotiate settlements within authority for various markets.
• Coordinate with internal/external departments as required.
