Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair work and quality finishes. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign frames, replace damaged parts, and ensure repairs meet company standards for speed, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You will work with a team to meet KPIs, uphold safety, and maintain an outstanding Brand Ambassador presence for The Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and follow supervision with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect for quality.
