Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, ensuring speed, quality and customer excellence. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with KPI targets and being a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, using diverse tools, replacing parts, and delivering a safe, high-quality finish. Strong adherence to safety and inspection standards is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair vehicle sections using cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply fillers when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts; weld and repaint as required.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and complete work orders.
