Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with KPIs and portraying the Brand Ambassador role for The Boyd Group.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, preparing estimates, using a variety of repair tools, realigning chassis, replacing parts, and ensuring quality through inspections and rework as

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently across repairs.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections.
• Hammer dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and fit new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass and interior parts as required.
• Weld and attach parts; prep and repaint to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure proper completion.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
