Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with meticulous repair work and customer-focused service. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with KPIs and representing the Brand Ambassador role for The Boyd Group.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using cutting tools, repairing dents, realigning frames, replacing parts, welding, and ensuring quality after repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld, grind, and repaint vehicles as needed.
• Inspect vehicles after repair for quality assurance.
