Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by carefully assessing and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence as a Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using industry tools, realigning chassis, replacing components, welding, and inspecting finished work to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and windshields; repair interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint with factory paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
