Qualifications

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 5 years post-bachelor experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on commercial insurance
• Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 3 years experience in personal lines analytics
• 3+ years commercial insurance experience
• ACAS (Associate in Casualty Actuarial Society)
• Requires strong decision-making, leadership and motivational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead Actuarial Analysts and Consultants with coaching, training, and direction across pricing and analytical projects
• Oversee actuarial analyses to support business decision-making and ensure high-quality results
• Review work of Consultants and Analysts and ensure timely completion of projects
• Manage and train Actuarial Consultants and Analysts within the department
• Balance team workload and communicate tradeoffs to leadership
• Provide effective challenge to leadership
