Oscar Health is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Authorization Services Design & Configuration in Tempe, AZ. The role focuses on architecting medical management workflows, translating requirements into automated logic, and guiding care decisions through UM system configuration.

You will collaborate across Product, Clinical, and Regulatory teams, handling escalations and validating system behavior. A hybrid work schedule with in-office days is required.

Formación

• 2+ years in system configuration, business rules management, or technical workflow design.
• 2+ years in a technical/operational role with root-cause analysis and data troubleshooting.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets (vlookups, pivot tables, data manipulation).
• Experience assessing end-to-end process impacts in complex tech environments.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical logic to non-technical partners.

Responsabilidades

• Configure and maintain authorization workflows, rulesets, and automations in the UM platform.
• Translate requirements into precise technical specifications and tested implementations.
• Investigate escalations with root-cause analysis on system behavior and gaps.
• Identify friction points in the authorization process and propose workflow improvements.
• Serve as SME for the UM system and educate cross-functional teams on configuration impact.
• Develop testing protocols and run scenarios; lead corrective actions for deviations.
• Manage caseloads and project tasks using dashboards and prioritization.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of rules, specs, and workflows.
