Qualifications

• 2+ years in system configuration, business rules management, or workflow design.
• 2+ years in a technical/operational role with root-cause analysis and data troubleshooting.
• Experience in healthcare industry (payer or provider) preferred.
• Experience with Prior Authorizations or Insurance Operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain authorization workflows, rulesets, and automations within the UM platform.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure accurate implementation.
• Investigate escalations with root cause analysis and fix configuration gaps.
• Identify friction points and document opportunities for automation and workflow improvements.
• Educate Product, Clinical, and Regulatory teams on system configuration impacts.
• Develop testing protocols and validate system behavior against specs.
• Manage caseloads and project tasks via dashboards and prioritization.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of rules, specs, and designs.
