Job summary

Withum in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead audit engagements from planning through completion. You will supervise staff, mentor junior team members and build strong client relationships across industries.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA or progress toward CPA, and at least 2 years in public accounting with multi-engagement oversight. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA or working towards CPA required.
• Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience with leading engagements.
• Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills with US GAAP familiarity.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and teams.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams on planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations.
• Supervise staff and mentor juniors; maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with managers and partners on issue resolutions and accounting considerations.
• Review general ledger entries and ensure accuracy.
• Manage multiple engagements and budgets to meet deadlines.
• Provide constructive feedback and contribute to staff development.
• Participate in professional development programs as a presenter or leader.
