Job summary

Withum seeks a Senior Auditor to lead audit engagements from planning through completion at our Houston, TX office. You will supervise staff, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with managers on complex issues, ensuring high-quality service to clients across industries.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA progression, and 2+ years in public accounting with strong analytical and communication skills and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA.
• Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience leading engagements.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and auditing standards.
• Strong client service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership, mentoring, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of audit engagements.
• Provide supervision and staff mentorship.
• Collaborate with managers and partners on issue resolutions.
• Review general ledger accounts for accurate entries.
• Manage multiple engagements with different teams.
