Novogradac is seeking a Manager to join our fast-growing firm in the United States. The Manager will lead tax, audit and related engagements, supervising staff and mentoring accountants, with a focus on client relationships and profitability.

Some roles may be remote or hybrid; discuss options with your recruiter during the process. The ideal candidate has a CPA, 5–8 years in public accounting, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 5–8 years of public accounting experience; CPA license required.
• Expert understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and professional judgment.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, varied workload and priorities.
• Willingness to travel domestically if required.

Aufgaben

• Assume primary responsibility for client engagements, including planning, staffing, timing, and technical issues.
• Conduct thorough engagement reviews and supervise staff.
• Mentor Supervisors, Senior Accountants and Staff with professional development.
• Perform annual performance evaluations and guide staff performance conversations.
• Assist Principals and Partners with identifying, meeting with and pursuing new clients.
• Turn technical knowledge into high value-added opportunities for clients.
• Promote the Firm’s image through conferences, publications, and trainings.
• Develop and grow client relationships through professionalism and responsiveness.
