Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage diverse tax, audit and related assignments with minimal supervision. You will supervise Staff Accountants, build client relationships, and contribute to team profitability while pursuing CPA licensure.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3–5 years public accounting experience, strong communication, and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; 3–5 years public accounting experience.
• CPA exam eligibility or CPA license is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced and varied workload with shifting priorities.
• Willingness to travel domestically if required.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit projects with minimal oversight.
• Conduct engagement reviews and manage engagements.
• Mentor Staff Accountants and supervise the team.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; improve profitability.
• Research business issues, interpret data, and prepare reports.
• Work toward CPA licensure.
• Be available for evenings, weekends, and domestic travel as needed.
