MDS Staffing is seeking a Senior Audit Manager for a North Central Phoenix CPA and business advisory firm. The role leads audits, oversees staff, and serves diverse sectors, including manufacturing, real estate, and restaurants, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 5+ years public accounting experience, and an active CPA. GAAP/GAAS/GAGAS knowledge is essential, along with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
• Experience with niches including Manufacturing/Retail/Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Individual/Estate/Gift.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work of audits, reviews and compilations
• Prepare financial statements with full disclosures
• Plan, supervise and complete routine engagements
• Supervise other accountants (of varying levels of proficiency and experience)
• Review work performed by other accountants
• Develop new client relationships, and strengthen existing relationships
• Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to clients
• Assist in firm administrative functions as needed
