Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search is assisting a leading Phoenix CPA and business advisory firm in its search for a Senior Audit Manager. The role focuses on managing audits across multiple niches and leading a team in a hybrid work environment.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, be a CPA, and possess at least 5 years of public accounting experience with strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge. Strong leadership and client development skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum 5+ years public accounting experience.
• Active CPA license required.
• Self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment.
• Strong analytical skills and GAAP/GAAS knowledge.
• Experience with GAAS and GAAP / Yellow Book is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work of audits, reviews and compilations.
• Prepare financial statements with full disclosures.
• Plan, supervise and complete routine engagements.
• Supervise other accountants of varying levels of proficiency and experience.
• Review work performed by other accountants.
• Develop new client relationships and strengthen existing ones.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients.
• Assist in firm administrative functions as needed.
