Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to lead audits, reviews, and compilation engagements for a CPA firm client in Chandler, AZ. The role demands self-motivation, client focus, and strong public accounting experience.

The salary range is $85K-$105K DOE with a hybrid work arrangement. You will plan engagements, mentor staff, review workpapers for GAAP/GAAS compliance, and maintain strong client relationships while delivering timely services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s preferred.
• CPA license preferred.
• 3–5+ years of audit experience in public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and auditing standards.
• Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong client service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit/review/compilation engagements from start to finish.
• Mentor junior staff, providing guidance and feedback.
• Review workpapers and financial statements for GAAP/GAAS compliance.
• Maintain strong client relationships through timely delivery of services.
• Identify audit issues and make recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Stay current on industry developments and applicable regulations.
