Local Phoenix CPA Firm in north central Phoenix is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to lead audits across Manufacturing/Retail/Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Estate/Individual tax advisory. The role features a hybrid schedule and a base salary up to $140,000 DOE.

The Senior Audit Manager will supervise staff, perform field work, prepare statements, and grow client relationships while ensuring GAAP/GAAS compliance. CPA is required and collaboration is key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA credential required.
• Minimum 5+ years public accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with GAAS.
• Understanding of GAGAS / Yellow Book is preferred.
• Experience in financial statement preparation and audits/reviews.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work of audits, reviews and compilations
• Prepare financial statements with full disclosures
• Plan, supervise and complete routine engagements
• Supervise other accountants of varying levels
• Review work performed by other accountants
• Develop new client relationships and strengthen existing ones
• Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to clients
• Assist in firm administrative functions as needed
