Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field or equivalent education.
• 8–10 years in audit, preferably on large projects.
• Advanced audit knowledge across banking/financial services.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent risk management and analytical skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; stakeholder engagement.
• Broad knowledge of audit standards and controls.
• Professional certification such as CIA/CPA/CISA.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scoping, and development of the audit test plan.
• Coordinate engagement resources and assignments to stay on budget and quality.
• Set quality expectations per Truist Audit Services standards.
• Develop meaningful audit reports aligned with risk appetite.
• Advise on complex assignments with deep organizational knowledge.
• Mentor junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Build relationships with lines of business and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of audits and projects.
