Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field required.
• Six to eight years of banking or auditing experience relevant to the role.
• Strong knowledge of audit and banking/financial services principles.
• Proven risk-management and process-improvement skills.
• Excellent analytical, facilitation and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engagement Manager for high-risk, complex audits; plan, scope and develop test plans.
• Set quality expectations and review process documentation for effectiveness and efficiency.
• Develop meaningful audit reports aligned with the risk appetite framework and present to stakeholders.
• Identify substantive issues and provide solutions beyond basic corrective actions.
• Coach and mentor junior team members; provide training and feedback.
• Apply deep subject-matter knowledge to support business partnerships and risk advisory.
• Manage multiple audits, projects and special assignments; advise on system/process changes as needed.
• Work independently with sound judgement in risk-based assessments.
