Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related field or equivalent.
• 8–10 years audit experience, lead role preferred.
• Broad banking/financial services knowledge and risk concepts.
• Strong leadership, decision making and communication skills.
• Solid ability to coach staff and manage projects within budgets.
• Experience with data analytics and audit reporting.
• Professional certifications such as CIA/CPA/CISA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach a team of audit professionals to meet performance metrics.
• Lead large, high-risk engagements and allocate resources effectively.
• Plan, scope, and develop audit test plans with data analytics.
• Set quality expectations and evaluate process effectiveness.
• Develop audit reports aligned with risk appetite and stakeholders.
• Advise on complex audits with deep organizational knowledge.
• Assess exposure, materiality, and big-picture risks.
• Provide leadership and feedback to junior staff.
• Maintain relationships with business units for coverage.
• Ensure timely, quality delivery of audits and projects.
• Stay current with industry trends and pursue continuing education.
