Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP seeks a Senior Accountant in the Naples, FL area to manage audit and attest engagements with limited supervision. You will mentor staff, resolve complex issues, and strengthen client relationships while developing audit expertise within our Tax/Audit practice.

Ideal candidates have a accounting/finance degree and 2–3 years in public accounting, with CPA exam progress preferred. Strong Excel and communication skills are required, and domestic travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA eligibility a plus.
• 2–3 years of public accounting experience or an appropriate work balance.
• Strong understanding of accounting and auditing rules; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit and attest projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
• Conduct thorough engagement reviews and manage engagements effectively.
• Mentor Staff Accountants and supervise work allocation.
• Identify problem areas and propose practical solutions during engagements.
• Research business specifics, analyze data, and compile reports with recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through professionalism and service.
