We are seeking an audit professional with 2+ years of experience who can perform detailed procedures, apply GAAP, and collaborate with client management to identify issues and provide practical solutions. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of audit experience.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed audit procedures over income statement and balance sheet accounts.
• Demonstrate strong GAAP knowledge to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver excellent client service and build trusted advisor relationships.
• Collaborate with client management to identify issues and practical solutions.
• Organize workflows and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery within scope.
• Utilize technology tools and pursue process improvements.
• Complete CPE requirements to maintain proficiency.
• Support proposal processes and articulate Firm capabilities.
• Contribute to Forvis Mazars-sponsored publications and internal learning sessions.
• Represent the firm at campus recruitment events to attract talent.
