Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an Assurance professional to perform detailed audit procedures over income statement and balance sheet accounts, applying GAAP to deliver accurate financial reporting for diverse clients.

You will collaborate with client management, support proposals, and participate in campus recruitment and internal knowledge sharing, within a flexible work environment and strong rewards program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 2+ years of relevant audit experience.
• Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed audit procedures over income statement and balance sheet accounts.
• Apply GAAP to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver excellent client service and cultivate relationships as trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with client management to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Organize workflows and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
• Utilize technology tools and pursue process improvements through innovation.
• Contribute insights to the proposal process and firm publications.
• Represent the firm at campus recruiting events to attract talent.
