Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Senior in Massachusetts to coordinate day‑to‑day audit activities, prepare financial statements with disclosures, and apply GAAP to client engagements. You will interact with clients as the main contact and may participate in reviews and agreed‑upon procedure engagements.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of audit experience, a CPA trajectory, and strong communication and leadership abilities to supervise staff and ensure high‑quality work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, required or Bachelor's in other focus with CPA, required
• Master's degree in Accountancy, preferred
• Two or more years of prior audit experience, required
• CPA certification or candidacy, required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day audit plan execution and fieldwork
• Document, validate and assess client internal controls
• Prepare financial statements with disclosures under GAAP
• Communicate with client as primary contact and engage with Audit Committee
• Coach and supervise junior staff and review their work
• Apply GAAP/GAAS and coordinate with engagement partner
