Job summary

BDO USA, LLP in the United States is seeking an Assurance Senior to coordinate day-to-day audit activities, including planning, fieldwork and wrap-up. You will prepare financial statements with disclosures under GAAP and supervise staff.

You will serve as the client contact for basic questions and participate in reviews and agreed-upon procedures, ensuring high-quality work under GAAS and SEC/PCAOB guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, or CPA candidate required.
• Two+ years of prior audit experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• CPA eligibility or active CPA certification preferred; Master’s degree welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit planning, fieldwork and wrap-up.
• Prepare financial statements with disclosures per GAAP and GAAS.
• Supervise Audit Associates and review engagement work.
• Communicate with clients and audit committee; assist with internal control testing.
• Plan 404 internal control audits and identify control deficiencies.
