Job summary

BDO USA, LLP seeks an Assurance Senior to coordinate daily audit activities, prepare financial statements with disclosures, and apply GAAP to client engagements. You will serve as client contact for basic questions, and may participate in reviews and agreed-upon procedures.

The role requires 2+ years of audit experience, a relevant degree, and CPA certification or pursuit. Strong communication and supervisory skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of prior audit experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics (or CPA track).
• CPA candidate or CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit planning, fieldwork and wrap-up with GAAP disclosures.
• Document, validate and assess internal controls and related procedures.
• Supervise audit staff and review work, communicating findings to managers.
• Prepare communications to clients and the Audit Committee, and support 404 IC testing.
