BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Senior to coordinate day-to-day audit activities, document controls, and apply GAAP/GAAS principles across engagements. The role involves client contact, reviewing staff work, and contributing to section 404 internal control audits.

Ideal candidates will have CPA eligibility, multiple years of audit experience, and strong communication skills to interact with clients and the engagement team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, required OR Bachelor's degree in other focus area and CPA certification, required
• Master's degree in Accountancy, preferred
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exams upon starting employment, required and actively pursuing completion of the exams, required

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate day-to-day audit plan, fieldwork, and wrap-up
• Document, validate, and assess internal controls
• Communicate with clients and audit committees
• Supervise and review work of Audit Associates
• Plan and execute SEC and PCAOB-focused procedures
• Assist engagement manager with information gathering and audit strategy
