BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Director to lead high-level engagement activities, supervise teams, and drive technical excellence in GAAP/GAAS. This role emphasizes client relationships, risk management, and strategic direction within assurance.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of audit or related experience, hold an active US CPA, and demonstrate executive presence to lead engagements and mentor staff across projects.

Qualifikationen

• Eight or more years of prior relevant audit experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience, required
• Active licensed US CPA or equivalent international qualification, required; obtain US CPA license within approved timeframe if only international qualification
• Strong GAAP/GAAS technical skills and knowledge; ability to supervise managers, seniors and staff as needed

• Review work prepared by associates, senior associates, and managers and provide review comments
• Act as a Career Advisor to associates, senior associates, and managers
• Provide verbal and written performance reviews to associates, senior associates, and managers
• Demonstrate executive presence and act as primary client contact
