BDO USA, LLP in Colorado is seeking an Assurance Director to lead critical technical functions in assurance and risk management. The role may involve Engagement Director duties or concurring reviews, with responsibility for guiding staff and presenting to clients.

The position requires extensive audit experience, active CPA licensure, and deep knowledge of GAAP/GAAS, internal controls, and risk management. Strong client relationships and executive presence are essential for success in this

Competenze

• Eight or more years of audit experience
• Public accounting or equivalent
• Experience supervising staff
• Industry expertise in assurance specialty (preferred)

Mansioni

• Review work prepared by associates and provide review comments as appropriate
• Act as a Career Advisor and provide performance reviews
• Provide verbal and written feedback to staff
• Serve as primary client contact and present to clients
• Sign audit reports and engagement letters where allowed by policy
• Maintain advanced GAAP/GAAS knowledge
