Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Director in Denver, CO who will lead high‑level audit engagements and act as a technical expert in GAAP/GAAS. The role includes supervising managers and staff, advising clients, and ensuring quality in financial reporting.

The position requires 8+ years in audit, CPA or international equivalent, and strong client communication skills. On-site work in Colorado with significant client interaction.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of prior relevant audit experience and/or public accounting experience.
• Active licensed US CPA or International equivalent, required.
• Significant supervisory experience and industry expertise in assurance.

Responsibilities

• Review work prepared by associates, senior associates, and managers with comments.
• Act as Career Advisor to associates and managers; provide performance reviews.
• Demonstrate strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge and supervise engagements as needed.
