Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Workforce Transformation Senior Associate to drive governance, program leadership, and change management across HR, payroll, and organizational initiatives. You will partner across service lines to support engagements and business development, aligning people, processes, and technology for sustainable outcomes.

Your day-to-day includes applying GT methodologies, managing workstreams, analyzing data, and delivering clear presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, HR, OD, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant consulting experience preferred.
• Change management or program management experience; relevant certifications preferred (Prosci, CCMP, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
• Experience in culture awareness, communications planning and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel, Project).
• Ability to leverage AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot).
• Travel: typically 40-50% (up to 80%).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply GT methodologies across workforce transformation engagements (HR, payroll, org transformation).
• Develop scalable approaches to manage change, including readiness and capability needs across stakeholders.
• Understand client workforce operations, risks, governance structures, and business drivers.
• Collaborate with engagement teams to design and execute integrated communications strategies.
• Prepare and deliver clear presentations and facilitate client workshops and meetings.
• Analyze data related to workforce operations to identify risks, opportunities, and insights.
• Translate insights into actionable plans and roadmaps; manage assigned workstreams.
• Support coaching and development of engagement team members and contribute to performance feedback.
• Assist business development by drafting proposals and responding to client information requests.
