Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Senior Associate, Supply Chain at any U.S. location. The role focuses on distribution and logistics strategy, network optimization, and PEPI services for private equity clients.

You will analyze supply chains, design improvement opportunities, support sourcing events, and drive inventory and transportation enhancements. Ideal candidates have 4–7+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical and project management skills.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years of consulting or industry operating experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Hands-on experience in distribution/logistics network optimization, transportation/warehouse sourcing, 3PL operating experience, or inventory planning.
• Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including process mapping.
• Travel flexibility based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand client supply chain across locations, baselines, and costs.
• Assess improvement opportunities and define strategies to meet objectives.
• Analyze network design and optimize cost, inventory and service delivery.
• Support transportation and warehousing sourcing events and 3PL interactions.
• Improve inventory planning processes and systems.
• Develop transformation plans with estimated benefits and timing.
