The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to translate biology into therapeutic hypotheses, contributing to drug-discovery programs in neurodegenerative diseases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant biology field.
• Experience with disease-relevant cellular assays and iPSC-based models.
• Experience in neurodegenerative disease research and translating biology to therapeutic hypotheses.

Responsibilities

• Design hypothesis-driven studies to investigate novel targets in neurodegenerative disease.
• Develop and apply human iPSC-based models and disease-relevant assays to evaluate target biology.
• Design, optimize, and implement mechanistic and translational assays for target interrogation and compound profiling.
• Establish causal relationships between target modulation and disease-relevant mechanisms.
• Support SAR by generating high-quality in vitro pharmacology data for optimization and progression.
• Represent Discovery Biology on cross-functional teams, presenting results and interpreting biology.
