Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist in In vitro Biology, Neuroscience Discovery, to investigate novel neurodegenerative targets using human iPSC-based models and advanced assays. You will apply molecular and cellular biology techniques to understand disease mechanisms and support drug-discovery programs, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Requires a strong foundation in molecular and cellular biology and experience designing experiments to address biological questions.
Experience developing disease-relevant cellular assays and applying iPSC-based models for target biology.
Hands-on experience with neurodegenerative disease biology and translating questions into therapeutic hypotheses.

Responsibilities

Design and execute hypothesis-driven studies to investigate novel targets in neurodegenerative disease.
Develop and apply human iPSC-based models and disease-relevant assays.
Design and optimize mechanistic assays for target interrogation and compound profiling.
Establish causal links between target modulation and disease mechanisms using genetic and pharmacological approaches.
Support SAR efforts by generating in vitro pharmacology data for compound optimization.
Represent Discovery Biology on cross-functional teams and present results to support progression.
