Bristol Myers Squibb’s Neuroscience TRC seeks a Senior Scientist in In Vivo Pharmacology to advance transformational therapies for neurodegenerative and neuromuscular diseases. The role involves directing in vivo mouse studies, managing CRO collaborations, and guiding program strategies with a biology-led approach.

You will develop assays, analyze PD readouts, and help select assets, contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values rigor and scientific curiosity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of academic and/or industry experience.
• Master's degree with 5+ years of academic and/or industry experience.
• Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in Life Sciences with 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs and directs in vivo pharmacology studies in mice, including in-life dosing and tissue collection.
• Analyzes pharmacodynamic and efficacy readouts (mRNA/protein expression, neuropathology, transcriptomics, physiology).
• Develops new assays and mouse models as needed.
• Manages in vivo studies conducted at CROs.
• Serves as in vivo pharmacology representative on program teams and contributes to strategy.
• Participates in evaluations of external assets and technologies.
