Job summary

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation seeks a Senior Associate Director of Construction to support the Director of Construction, HVP, and VP in commercial construction and renovation of new acquisitions. The role is based in Staten Island, NY and will require some travel.

The role covers planning, design development, construction management, and launch of each property, coordinating with stakeholders and reporting to Senior Management on-site and off-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of construction experience with emphasis on commercial construction.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in management and collaborative software tools.
• Excellent multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to create and manage construction budgets.
• Pre-employment screening, including a background check, is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of new commercial construction projects and extensive renovation projects across all phases from planning to launch.
• Liaising with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables.
• Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects.
• Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.
• Analyze data as required.
• Maintain filing systems and manage communications, invoices and estimates.
• Track and report project progress.
• Report to Senior Management on and off site.
• Manage relationships with general contractors, zoning consultants, city inspectors, and contracted project managers.
