The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is seeking an experienced construction supervisor to lead residential projects from initiation to completion on site in Staten Island, NY.   • Travel to project locations as required.

We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is committed to eradicating homelessness amongst our veterans.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Follow up with potential builders.
  • Ensuring that the construction process starts and ends on time and all deadlines are met.
  • Meet weekly with Project Managers and Support Team to discuss on going progress, timelines, material acquisition and change orders.
  • Establish and manage relationships with builders and architects.
  • Responsible for collecting lien releases.
  • Review owner’s representative reports to ensure owner’s needs are being met.
  • Monitor the Builder Trend daily logs for ongoing updates.
  • If required, travel to project locations, in and out of state.
  • Create weekly progress reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of residential experience.
  • Prior experience in a construction supervisory or management role, with the ability to lead construction teams, oversee projects, and manage day-to-day field operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and housing regulations.
  • Ability to multitask multiple projects and supervise personnel.
  • Proficient in construction management and business software, including Buildertrend, R.S. Means, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or equivalent applications.
  • Pre-employment screening, including a background check, is required.
