DoorDash is hiring a highly analytical, execution‑driven cost optimization analyst to join the Commerce Platform. You will partner with Finance and cross‑functional teams to identify trends, size opportunities, and implement scalable cost‑reduction initiatives across Dasher pay and network efficiency.

You will design and test operational interventions, model financial impact, and roll out changes with Product and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Must have strong SQL and BI tooling experience.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation.
• Experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Demonstrated analytical rigor and problem solving.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Product, Analytics and Ops.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Track record of owning strategic initiatives in fast‑growing environments.
• Self‑starter mindset with adaptability and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance on weekly Dasher cost performance and trends.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to design cost‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop and size cost reduction opportunities and prioritize them.
• Support operational tests to identify high‑impact levers.
• Roll out scalable cost initiatives with Product and Engineering.
• Contribute fresh ideas to improve efficiency and merchant growth.
