Job summary

DoorDash's Commerce Platform is expanding cost-improvement initiatives within the Logistics team in Austin. You will partner with Finance to analyze Dasher cost performance and design initiatives to improve network efficiency and Dasher pay.

The role requires data mastery, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive ideas from concept to deployment in a high-growth environment. Candidates should have strong SQL, BI tool experience, and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance on weekly Dasher cost performance, identifying trends, root causes, and missed targets.
• Work with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to design and execute initiatives that improve network efficiency and optimize Dasher pay.
• Contribute to net new ideas and assess the impact of product-driven cost changes.
• Focus on scoping, sizing, and prioritizing cost improvement initiatives.
• Support operational tests to uncover high-impact levers for cost reduction.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to roll out cost initiatives that scale.
