DoorDash is seeking a highly analytical, execution‑focused professional to drive cost improvement initiatives within Commerce Platform. You will partner with Finance on cost performance, work with Product/Engineering/Analytics/Operations to improve network efficiency and Dasher pay, and prioritize high‑impact cost levers across the business.

This role emphasizes data mastery, end‑to‑end execution, cross‑functional influence, and innovation to deliver merchant growth and cost fairness.

Qualifications

• SQL and BI tools (Mode, Sigma, Tableau).
• Excel/Google Sheets expertise.
• Financial modeling & forecasting.
• Analytical rigor & resourcefulness.
• Experience cross‑functional with Product & Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance on weekly Dasher cost performance, identifying trends and root causes.
• Work with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to design cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Contribute to net new ideas and assess impact of product‑driven cost changes.
• Focus on scoping, sizing, and prioritizing cost improvement initiatives.
• Support operational tests to uncover high‑impact levers for cost reduction.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to roll out scalable cost initiatives.
