Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions seeks an experienced Assistant General Counsel to lead a team providing day-to-day legal support for Archimedes, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer. You will manage contracts, IT and regulatory matters, and guide strategic initiatives.

The role requires a JD/LLM, bar admission in at least one state, and 6+ years in a legal role within PBM or health insurance. Strong drafting, negotiation, and compliance skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or LLM from ABA-accredited school required; business or pharmacy degree preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one US state; Wisconsin license preferred.
• 6+ years of legal experience; PBM or health insurance industry preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to work cooperatively across teams and support compliance program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for Archimedes; maintain and update contract templates.
• Manage licensing and regulatory requirements for Archimedes.
• Provide legal guidance on contracts, IT systems, and strategic initiatives.
• Inform development of new Archimedes initiatives from a legal perspective.
• Review and approve policies and procedures related to Archimedes legal needs.
• Research statutes, decisions, and legal articles as needed.
