Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for Archimedes to lead a legal team and provide day-to-day support on contracts, regulatory, and strategic matters.

The role requires a JD/LLM (or equivalent), Wisconsin license preferred, and substantial PBM/insurance industry experience. You will collaborate across Navitus and Archimedes teams to ensure compliant, ethical operations and robust risk management.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Juris Doctorate, LLM, or equivalent degree from an ABA accredited Law school required. Additional Business or pharmacy degree preferred.
• License to practice law in at least one US state required. License to practice law in Wisconsin is preferred.
• 6+ years of experience working in legal required.
• Direct experience within Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or health insurance industry required.
• Experience using software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support for Archimedes, managing a team of attorneys and paralegals.
• Provide analysis and counsel on contracts, statutes, regulations, products, employment law, IP, financial offerings, and regulatory issues.
• Collaborate with Lumicera and Navitus teams to ensure compliance with law and Navitus’ mission and values.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and maintain templates.
• Manage licensing and regulatory processes for Archimedes.
• Advise on legal issues shaping organizational direction and IT systems.
