Divert is seeking an Assistant Controller to safeguard accounting information, lead a reporting team, and ensure timely SEC filings. The role emphasizes GAAP, SOX controls, and accurate close processes across quarterly and annual reports.

The ideal candidate has CPA credentials, 8+ years in accounting with 3+ in supervision, and strong communication and leadership abilities. Hybrid work with some travel supports a dynamic growth environment.

Formación

• CPA required.
• 8+ years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Strong knowledge of SOX/internal controls and auditing.
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics preferred; ERP implementation a plus.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee internal and external financial reporting activities and quarterly/annual filings.
• Assist with SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) and related disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC rules, and company policies.
• Consolidate entries and accounts for financial statements.
• Advise management on reporting trends and changes; recommend approaches.
• Prepare data for audits and support for external auditors.
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting (SOX).
• Support close processes and updates to accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Controller on transactions, reporting and procedures.
• Document and update SOX 404 processes; mentor reporting staff.
