Jobot is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our growing accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and financial reporting, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers.

This role leads day-to-day accounting operations, ensures GAAP compliance, coordinates audits, and supports process improvements across multiple entities to drive accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA required.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting/finance experience with focus on financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the accounting team (AP, AR, and tax).
• Maintain accurate financial records and data integrity across entities.
• Review financial statements for portfolio companies (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows).
• Coordinate audits with external auditors and prepare required documentation.
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries for various companies.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and proper accounting policies.
